Different Types of photography

There are many different types of photography, these include:

. News- Photo journalism
. Documentary
. War
. Fashion
. Landscape
. Architecture
. Portrait
. Food
. Still Life
. Stock (objects to be sold, holiday photograph)
. Life Style
. Wedding
. Underwater
. Music

I have chosen three to look at in detail and give examples of. The three i have chosen are, portrait, underwater and music.

Portrait photography:

Portrait photography is where you have a shot of just one person, often in black and white from chest level upwards. It's a simple way of photography however the lighting and positioning is precise and perfected to the required desire. Here are some famous examples of portraits.

Underwater photography:
Underwater photography is usually done while scuba diving, but can be done while diving on the surface, snorkelling, swimming or from a submarine. Successful underwater photography is usually done with specialised equipment. It offers exciting and rare photographic opportunities to capture different under water species, unseen shipwrecks and is also used for high fashion photography. Here are some examples:

Music/ gig photography:
Music photography is a very popular type, it's basically photographs of bands playing live, festivals, or portraits of the group/ signer. Here are some of my personal favourites.
